Squarespace recruiter wants to have a call about the result of my onsite. What should I expect? I’ve had a Google recruiter ask for a call just to reject so I don’t know. In case it’s good news, what’s the culture like? WLB? PIP? Stack ranking? Benefits? Thank you. TC: 🥜 #Squarespace
When I interviewed with them it was to align on comp expectations before offer and gauge your excitement
Thank you
Can you share your interview experience?
Pretty standard. 1 phone LC medium. Onsite: 5 rounds: 2 algorithms (LC medium/hard)+ 1 system design + 1 team specific tech (sql, etc.) + 1 resume deep dive/behaviour with manager. All interviewers were nice.
Great! Thanks for sharing
In my experience, we care a lot about candidate experience. I'd expect a brief call whether it's an offer or not. Prep assuming it's moving forward - anything we'd need before making an offer. If it's a no, ask about any feedback you can get. There's a limited amount that companies share, but I'd imagine we'd say what we could. Good luck!
Thank you!
Wlb is average to good, depending on your team/org. No official PIP that I know of, in fact there are often people we definitely should let go that we don’t.. take that as you will. Benefits are also standard, nothing to write home about.
Thank you
