Future position is in Mountain View- Program Manager (Non Tech) Currently PM@ at Amazon 2 YOE @ Amazon 5 YOE Total in Supply Chain Current TC is 140K in Seattle Based on my calculation this salary in California would be 160 K plus 15%- 20% comes to 190K. Is this reasonable to ask for? Currently recruiter is going to HC and needs this info. What should I state as proposed compensation?
In California it’s illegal to ask your current compensation. It’s still legal to ask for what range you’re looking for. Tbh 190k base for a supply chain PM seems super high. Why don’t you ask the recruiter what the salary range is - by law they now have to tell you
Ah, $190k TC seems reasonable. Was reading too fast 🤓
Do you think I can go higher ?
Depends on what level they give you no?
Is it possible to find out what level I am going in for ? Also what is the purpose of Google referrals? Are friends okay?
@imawesome
The HC would tell you what level they picked for you and referrals don’t really come into play. At least that is what a recruiter told me a while ago....
No recruiter NEEDS this info.
