I'll answer #1.
Auth0 is remote first, meaning that the company leadership focuses on strategies that will foster a remote culture. There are breakdowns that can happen when a team is partially remote. They understand this and provide all the tools, resources and training necessary to perform in a distributed manner.
There are teams made up of people across timezones, they will have async meetings and sometimes plan meetings around a time they would be available.
Company will do an off-site every year and a team can have an off-site at another part of the year. This helps with bonding and having face to face physical time.
You are required to be autonomous and take initiatives. Not much hand holding after onboarding. This is also something we look out for during interviews.
There is an auth0 hiring blog, check that, the hiring process is very similar to what is in that blog.
