Move recently to US. Looking at the auto insurance quotes from multiple providers, for used Dodge charger of cost 28k they are quoting 280, 350 and 455 per month. This is insane. Any suggestions to get cheaper insurance?
Probably because you have not built a history of driving record as well as social security in the US.
What plan options are you selecting? Coverages, comprehensive/liability, deductible, any add-ons, state, etc. Are you very young? Or is that charger a Hellcat or other high performance trim? Good driving record? I had a Mustang GT PP V8 and that was $120 if I remember For reference I pay $90 for full coverage on 2018 vehicle (worth approx 30k) with a $1000 deductible.
I checked for mustang gt 2017 used car too..coming upto 300 per month. I'm 28, checking for basic coverage.
Weird, I wonder if it’s from citizenship status or lack of driving history? At 28 you’re outside of the age fee.
Get a used Prius instead.
I pay $50/mo for my Honda Fit.
Get a different car.
Get married, grow older and have kids. That will drastically lower your auto insurance payments
Up your deductable, get all the discounts you can, improve your driving record, and/or get a less risky car (eg not one owned by 18 year old bros). Not sure how your lack or poor driving record is a reflection of an industry?
Don't get a dodge charger lol
Yikes.

Well Dodge charger is a performance machine so its expected to be high. 350 and 455 per month does sound a lot though
