I really had a bad experience with the Dana Incorporated manager interview. I did not have a recruiter screen before this round The recruiter was not aware of my skill set And he did directly forward my résumé to the manager and the manager agreed to interview me. But when interviewing me it looked like the manager is having a look at my résumé right now As that idiot is not aware of my background. It was a perfect skill set miss match and I’m not sure whether the hiring manager is well aware on what is he looking for. He was just trying to bombard me with his questions, and was asking about software which I did not even mention on my resume. A part of me was like, You motherfucker😡, Those are not even listed on my resume why the fuck are you asking me dude, The point is if I know a software I will mention on my resume if I don’t that obviously means that I don’t know about the software. He was looking at my resume(when speaking) on a video call with a fucking pause in between And between the gap I was just staring at him doing nothing. He should have prepared before or even try to have a look at my résumé and figure out the questions which he /she was supposed to ask to get some kind of clarity on the work I do , Rather than trying to demotivating the candidate which will make no sense. Interviewer was infact humiliating the work I do. I think this asshole did not undergo any formal training on how to treat candidates. This should be included in an organization policies. I was just thinking to say this to the manager“ You are not at all working at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in order for you to be proud off mother fucker. Just because you know a couple of softwares more than me does not make you a godfather. consider a situation if I try to interview the hiring manager and ask questions about the work I do which is not aware of right? Does that make any sense??? He will just shut his ass off!!! The final question he asked was “Why should I hire you” I was having a broad smile on my face, actually I was laughing at his question. In my mind “ You ass hole! Do you even have brain to ask that question? Why will you hire someone who skill set is not matching with your job responsibilities? 😂😂 Best of luck in search of your potential candidate, And next time sir please make sure you at least read his/her résumé otherwise he / she will just say fuck off on a video call!!! Be respectful of the candidates time as they might be going through a tough day, and even though if the skill set do not match, be courteous enough to convey that through a recruiter. I am waiting for the day where I will interview you and I am pretty sure that I am gonna screw your brain and rip your heart out you M#interviewed #interviewed intervi#hiringmanager #fuckyoubastard #respectthecandidate#mutualrespect

Honestly so what if the guy is looking at your resume while interviewing you. He probably has way more important things to do than spend time preparing to interview you.
Yes agreed but I feel if he did have a look at my resume before the interview or moving to the next step he could’ve been the person who could’ve saved his time and my time as well They are not celebrities who I wish to spend my time with😂 That too when a person doesn’t have minimum common sense To respect a candidate Honestly so what if the guy is looking at your resume while interviewing you - I am a hiring manager and honestly I will at least try to understand the candidate skill set before the interview .As a hiring manager I would not prepare for the interview but I will at least learn how to interview the candidate if he is not a perfect match for me If he probably has way more important things to do that is what for the recruiters are here for. At least find out what the hiring manager is looking for Thanks bud, I’m not sure whether you read my complete post or not if you have some time please feel free to read On how did the manager behave. this post is more about his behavior than the interview. Just saying 😅
Why did you interview for a role that wasn't a fit. Didn't you read job description. The recruiter must have sent that to you.
Recruiter reached out to me saying I matched for this role. I replied ,I don’t think it matched. I requested him for a time slot to discuss further to understand any gaps. I didn’t go through recruiter round. He directly forwarded to manager. If the manager could have seen my resume after he could have said no. If he really did wanna talk to me even after he did see what my roles are I would simply consider him as an dumb ass. I could have said no in the first place, when recruiter could have mentioned what the hiring team responsibilities are!
Yeah Dana is shit company. Second hand experience. Post your glassdoor review
Yea. Even the reviews says it as well
No one looks at resumes before interview. Ppl got work to do.
Sorry to say this. But just read the complete story before passing a biased statement. It is a honest interview experience or what so ever. Thanks!
Dana’s HM is so suck. For my interview HM was 5mins late for the interview and no camera on and so rude to interrupt you. Good luck for them to find some poor men.
Was the HM Indian?
Tldr?
Lol! My thought exactly
Yep. In short, hiring managers should respect the candidate for this time, even skill set didn’t match!
