What are the implications for employees of Aetna and CVS? Does CVS management screw the Aetna management and there employees with the deal? Annual bonus/rises?
CVS tech is godawful. Dunno about Aetna. They both should sell off the company piecemeal and ditch their shitty brands.

Assuming it's like the caremark acquisition not much would change short-term. They operated as two separate companies for many years.
If it's anything like when I got acquired there will be a bit of an excited party atmosphere, then the new HR people will hand out some pamphlets explaining how sad you might feel, then they do a bunch of stuff to make the sad come true.
