It looks like they're an all Indian team. Brush up on your Hindi.
I don’t have issues with Indians! Actually most are really nice and professional!
Good team, interesting product
Why don’t u join? Did u work there?
Friend interned there. He was disappointed he didn't get a full time offer as he loved the work and the people. Said he'd highly recommend the company to anybody.
Oh sad to hear :) hope things will go well with him.
One of my high school seniors became a director there and constantly keeps mailing me asking me to get in touch with his recruiter. Fuck that shit, you don’t get to cash the “personal” connection and at the same time ask me to connect via the recruiter.
Why don’t u give it a try?
I have heard that it's great. But earlier they mostly hired iitians only like them. Not sure if it's still true.
Do u know great in which aspects?
Package, tech and people.
I am Indian, and have a PhD from Stanford (info lab) but I didn’t go IIT. My friend recommended me,’at which point a director of engineering called me. He asked me to explain why I didn’t go to IIT on the phone call. I stopped the interview process
I'm not from an IIT. I don't have an elite Masters degree. I still got interviewed and got the offer. How long ago was this ? They're being dumb if they're ignoring a Stanford grad !
Our ex-president now works at Thoughtspot as their CEO :)
I knew the senior director of PMM there. He left a while back, they haven't grow as fast as some of the other startups but have some good tech. Not sure how much more they can grow in the BI market which is super competitive.
I see! Do you think it worths the risk?
If they pay well may be. Are you worried about job security or opportunity cost?
