Niantic Transfer
I was wondering if it is possible to transfer internally from the Sunnyvale location to the Seattle/Bellevue office? If not at this point, then after I have been with the company for a year or more perhaps? Thank you for your help!
There is a policy and process for this. Talk to HR and check the HR portal for the process.

The policy is useless. You can easily find transfer cases which don't qualify base on the policy
The policy is pretty new, so it's possible they transferred before it was in place. Regardless, I second the advice to ask your manager. If there's a good business case for it, it makes a lot more sense to do than losing a team member over geography.
I am 1000% sure that there are several cases of unqualified transfers since we have the policy.
Why not ask your manager?
