Currently interviewing with Meta for a non-tech supply chain role. I currently am on a client at Accenture where I work <10 hours a week. I’m scheduled to be on this client until September, and then I have paternity leave scheduled for November. However, I could end up staying on client indefinitely vs going on the bench. If I get an offer from Meta, should I continue to work at Accenture? At worst, I would ride the bench for a few months and at best I’d get to keep working for this low-maintenance client. My biggest fear is a background check overlap when I apply to future jobs. Would there be a legitimate way to explain this? TC: 120k YOE: 5 #2jobs #meta #consulting #fire #facebook
What do you do with your LinkedIn?
If you get an offer from meta, check with them if you can work at other place as well, I wouldn’t do it for the sake of peace of mind. You don’t know what you will face down the line. If there are two consulting companies, then you might do it, not with meta full time.
Why would you not quit, take some time off, and then join Meta?
