Yes, one free drink per week

Bruh asp....
Microservices, Azure Event Hub
Current TC/YOE? That offer from Schwab is solid especially in Dallas
Current Tc - 124k base plus 15k bonus
Are you currently a software engineer?
Years of experience?
12.5 yrs of experience
For an engineering lead with 12yoe that TC is peanuts and an insult. Also keep in mind Seattle is much more expensive than Dallas and somewhat more expensive than Austin Decline both of these bullshit offers and keep interviewing! Also, imho you really need to get out of .Net bullshit stack and switch to something non microsoft (Java, Python, Go, Node etc). Way more jobs on that side. Otherwise you need to apply to Microsoft itself
I am more inclined towards Microsoft technology stack and I am an Architect having 2 yrs of experience as an Architect. At this time, it's difficult to move to other technologies but I am exploring additional skills such as Togaf, Cloud certification such as Azure, AWS. I have recently completed Azure Associate Certification.
Texas is no income tax. Sounds good to me 🤷🏼♂️
So is Seattle
I did not know that. Granted I’m in New Jersey, and everything revolves around us and our Twitter account.
What kind of climate do YOU like? Have you visited either one? Visiting during their worst time of year and seeing how you handle it is optimal. If you need to buy a place for a family, Dallas will be the most affordable as it isn't a tech hub like the other two.
I like hot climate, Defentily not cloudy windy
Do you like hot and humid swamp, though? Because that is what you are gonna get in Texas and that is quite different from hot and dry
Sure, moving towards Cloud
True. .NET is so old. Forget it.
Why are the bonus and stalks so measly?
Starbucks provide 10% bonus and stocks as per the Engineering level
Try for a tech company then, these numbers are too less
