Married but no kids and filing jointly. Partner and I save 20k per month. All our money is in Wealthfront right now. How would to allocate % to stock, etf, savings account etc? We are both in our late 20s and plan to buy a house in 1-3 years + have a kid. :) Cheers #personalfinance #investments
Better off asking on /r/personalfinance than blind imo.
/r/personalfinance is for cashiers, baristas, and delivery drivers
/r/wallstreetbets
Obligatory TC or GTFO
How are you saving 20k/month.. do you and your spouse have 200k base (400k combined base)..?
200K base isn’t hard in the Bay Area
I know But its hard in late 20s, I am 34 have 11yoe with base 199k...interesting to see how many yoe OPs and their spouse has and their base
20k /month savings on post tax cheques? In my late 20s with partner with total tc ~450k. Almost never hit 20k/month post taxes.
Are you doing espp/401k/hsa and all that jazz? If this savings is after all those deductions, opt for AT roth 401k if you don’t already.
Put 10K/month into tickers: ARKG, ARKW Much safer than Bitcoin and much better risk-adjusted return than VTSAX
I bought ARKG Right before the adjustment, I guess buy the dip
End of the year is always like that. People are harvesting gains/losses for taxes. It’ll be back up by end of Jan when the 30 day wash sale period ends
