221G Administrative Processing
Hi, I had my visa interview today at the Chennai Consulate and I received a 221G. They gave me the blue paper and took my passport. I was told that the administrative processing would take 3-5 days. Anyone with similar situation please advise me the time it took for you and status such as issued/denied? Thank you! TC 85000$, 2 YOE, Austin TX

I had the same experience in Chennai.. December last year. Had my interview on Thursday, got the 221g, status changed to issued on Monday. It's just some processing I guess. Nothing to be worried about.

Update: My visa was issued today!

Masters in Computer Science and currently work as a Software Engineer building infrastructures for a mid size company(2000 employees).
Is bachelors also in CS?
