anyone out here to help me with 23andMe onsite interviews ? what to expect and what not ?
I interviewed there in the past and it was horrible. They made me stay an extra hour because an interviewer was late for 30 minutes and couldn’t ask all the questions he wanted to. He had to come back after to interview me again.. Another thing I couldn’t believe was the director who interviewed me asked me where I went to for high school and my gpa there. Tf does that have to do with anything?? I went to Berkeley for fuck sakes.. and who tf would remember their high school gpa? That was like 7 years ago I was interviewing for big data position. Spark related question. Some general algorithm questions. Nothing special. Declined their offer. Commute was too far
Can you please brief on questions?
One question I got was a pattern matching one. Given some pattern and a tree, find all paths that match this pattern. Others I got were spark related questions. Load parquet from s3 and do some aggregation on it in df form
It's a revolving door of back to back 45 minute interviews with 3-6 people. It's pretty awful.
Could you share more about which part is aweful? currently in the process
What school are you from ?
