I heard from a few friends that companies like cognizant, cerner are pretty good for immigration into the country. Is this true? Or which companies would I have the best bett to become a green card holder in the states?
Cognizant has the highest rejection rate nowadays for any H1b related stuff
Cognizant tops eb1c abuse so that way yes.
Microsoft
Amazon is crappy is what I ave heard . True ?
Amazon uses fragomen so it'll be the same as the other half of tech companies that use fragomen. I think they are better than BAL, which the half use, but they are both assembly lines where para legals do most of the work and the actual lawyers just review it before filing. Plus you are just a number, they are doing a zillion cases. Very few places actually hire premium law firms like Murthy. Realistically though 95% of cases are very straight forward and these assembly line law firms are good enough. I got my greencard this way, my case was simple so a paralegal filling in forms with the occasional lawyer review was really good enough. If your case is complicated maybe hire your own lawyer who will spend the time to really explore the options.
Cerner provides great immigration support for associates based in the United States. However, I've never come across someone that used to work for Cerner outside of the United States and were brought onboard to work in the United States. As far as green card processing goes, if you have been a Cerner associate for over an year, and, you have an active H1-B visa, Cerner will file an I-140 on your behalf. Also, AFAIK, rejection rate is very low for Cerner in immigration related issues.
Microsoft. IMO they have the best immigration lawyers
