I reached out to recruiter on LinkedIn for a role they posted but asked about a different location that’s also posted but not connected to their profile (same role has multiple locations but may have different recruiters). I sent my resume and asked to meet this week. They responded and just said thanks for reaching out, and sent me a connection request. What would you reply as a next step, if anything? Why did they ignore my question? I have my thoughts but want yours first; don’t want to add bias. Thanks!
Who really knows why. Recruiters drop the ball sometimes. I wouldn't take it personally the first time it happens. I would just message them in a day or two reiterating your request. Be kind and show your enthusiasm for the position. Watch Jeff Sipe videos if you want to know how to communicate with recruiters.
Thank you

Why didn't you just reach out to the recruiter whose connected to the role at the location you're interested in?
There’s no public post on it I could find. I was already referred for it and hadn’t heard back. This recruiter is recruiting for the same role and team — it’s unclear if he is hiring for my location or not though but I did ask.
