Why did Silicon Valley swing hard right?
Keep in mind current income to cost-of-living ratio, walkable downtown area with quality restaurants, access to outdoor recreation (water/mountains), distance to international airport, distance professional sports such as (at least 2 within {NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB}), concentration of 23-32 year olds, K-12 education, crime rates, traffic congestion, general weather/climate, other hazards such as floods/wildfires/tornadoes/hurricanes, power outage frequency, etc… othe considerations . Obviously this will be very subjective. I just want to see people’s opinions.
Chicago, Boston, DC, and Portland would be high on my list. I don’t particularly like warm weather though.
