obligatory yoe - 17 in java, includes 10 in android, 14 on dual-intent work-visa in the US. obligatory tc - $90 per hour contractor. received following offer. role - staff android engineer location - remote tc - $180 sign-on - $20 annual-bonus - up to 15% variable. 401K - match up to 4% stock options - 1000 common-stock at strike-price of $30. is it all worth it ? apparently, it is still series-A funded. given my age, time to retirement, potential for inviting more investment, dilution of common-stock, thereby anything potentially causing the common-stock value to plummet to $0 ? i am tempted for the location and stock-options. i have not cleared facebook, microsoft, twitter and reddit first-round interviews, and royally bombed google and doordash virtual onsites.

Just curious - from the timing of this and your other post from Apr 2, did you keep rewardStyle on the hook for like a month and a half waiting for your decision?
this post is after work-visa transfer approval confirmation, apparently, as received via email from point-of-contact HR. some unforeseen delays came-up due to GC processing situation and will be joining rewardStyle in a month from now.

yes, base is 180. currently in NJ, considering moving to Dallas, TX.
