How did you find your home rental?

Been checking Trulia but options aren’t great. How did you find your place? Any recommended apps or links? Thanks!

Where are you looking ?

Seattle near downtown but east or north below 85th street. No further west than Queen Ann. Nothing farther south than Cherry. Bellevue and Kirkland are also on the table.

Why not south of cherry? Between cherry and the i90 there's some really nice affordable district. Lot of gentrification (Paul Allen is developping 6 acres on Jackson/23rd). Very quick access to the east side through the i90 while still being within 10 minutes of downtown or Capitol Hill. There's also a bunch of 2+ million dollar houses if you get closer to Lake Washington (if that's what you are looking for)

Craigslist always seems kind of sketch to me.

🤔 Anyone?

Zillow. Redfin was my go-to when looking to buy, but once I settled on renting I used Zillow.

Use a realtor, they do rentals too.

I stopped listing my apartment for rent on Craigslist. All I got was low ballers every time. I stopped wasting my time with it, Hotpads or Zillow is where I post when I have a vacancy.
