India changing country name

Calm dow, name will never change. They are promoting Bharat as name to be used within the country just like Japan is called Nippon and Germany is called Deutsche Land. Officially it will stay India.
But why ? It’s going to be such an expensive affair. Imagine changing almost a billion passports, books, websites, official docs & registrations. BSRO would probably reach all the planets if they had such budget
