Yeah... After an initial mapping run, subsequent driving through the same area is done with the purpose of testing changes to the software and capturing novel scenarios with respect to other things besides infrastructure (e.g. behavior of other agents, etc.)

Back in 2021 I interviewed with Nuro as a new grad and they gave me a 250k offer (you could've negotiated for 260k). Imagine a company with negative revenue giving 250k to fucking 21 year olds, no wonder their runway is almost out and they've done 2 rounds of layoffs already.

There's no way the offer was 250 base salary. That's probably the high end for L5. Nuro's cash comp is comparable to other tech companies (but with imaginary stock value).
