Worked at a capital one, thinking about Boomerang back because of amazon RTO. What is the Boomerang policy? Do I have to re interview?
Definitely, normal interview process, I did it, I would say you definitely have an edge as you worked here before, interviews are a little harder than they used to be, but not much.
@op what job role ?
Depends on when you left. 1. If you left in the last 3 months , no interview. You will be treated like an internal transfer 2. If you left before 6 months, some HM’s want to interview you but not all 3. If you left before 12 months , you need to do the loop but not the other things like hackerrank etc
Heads up, some teams starting to enforce RTO
This is something to discuss with the hiring manager
Which teams/LOB? It’s about damn time.
Capital one has a hybrid policy and is encouraging people to be in office tue to Thursday. Real enforcement of this policy varies from team to team and is very much dependent on the manager/VPs preference
Don’t be surprised if it capital one joins the trend and starts a broader enforcement of the policy
We’ll see. They just hired an SVP in California. Several VPs in CML Tech live way out of radius. Given child care needs to be figured out now for summer, I don’t see RTO happening until fall at the earliest.
I think if and when they likely do this, those VPs and above (well really all associates out of radius) will probably be examples of what it means to have a remote exception. Like we have a remote exception policy for those who don’t want to come in ever, and I believe everyone is free to ask for it. There’s a lot of really bright talent that works here, so I could also imagine their being some form of consideration of how much a high performance/high potential individual you are, couple with your attrition risk, to help decide whether you get a remote exception.
Yeah, I wouldn’t bank in C1 not enforcing RTO, but I still think it will highly depend on the Team you join, many are being hired as fully Remote
I’d only apply to a role that’s full remote
Don’t it’s terrible here
Why? How does it compare to Amazon?
C1 has RTO
Is it communicated across whole company or still just with in orgs??
It does not.
Yes
