Codesignal recently changed their scoring system for the “industry coding framework” assessment which is what Dropbox uses. Scores used to be between 0-1000. Now the system gives you a score between 200-600. Has anyone taken the codesignal recently and moved forward? If so, what was your score? #dropbox
Did you take it OP?
Can someone please share their experience ?
I took it, scored 400, and was told they would not being moving forward. There are 4 levels and the questions are progressive. It wasn’t that difficult just very verbose instructions and requirements made it time consuming to code and implement. I completed 2.5 levels out of 4 and I thought that would be good enough but it wasn’t. Coding speed is very important to finish the test. I was slowed down by a few edge cases and debugging and fixing those, but still thought I was moving at a pretty quick pace. I’d imagine very few actually finish within time limit. Seems like a test made for competitive programmers.
Scored 440 and got rejected
Is this test even making sense for their pre screening I feel like totally doesnt makes sense The level of difficulty is super high
any insights on the questions?? Is it LC medium on strings?
Hi, it’s been a couple months since I took it but none of the questions themselves were that tricky. The challenging aspect was that the numerous requirements, and the wall of text that you had to read and translate into code and completing it within the short timeframe. I would say LC medium on strings is accurate. Should be able to solve using hash and some basic string manipulation in your programming languages.
Thank you <3
got 520, idk if that's good. Will follow up
Any updates? I took it yesterday and got 500, currently waiting to hear back if I’ll be moving forward. Finished level 3 but had no time for level 4 (well, enough time to submit and show that the level 1-3 test cases passed for 75% but not enough time to implement level 4 requirements at all).
Quick update for me, just heard back and I did indeed pass and am moving on to the interview stage.
Yeah got a scooter oof
What is the question?
