Help with comp updates at PM/PMT L6 level
Hey all. I have been trying to go through all the existing posts but there is just too much information. I am trying to figure out if I am at the right comp, and how to adjust to the new changes with respect to PM vs PMT. Some info first: Location is Seattle I was hired on as L5 PM 3 years ago. I was promoted promoted to L6 PM 1 year ago. I got 'Meets High Bar' in my 2022 Forte In my 2022 PCS I received a 4.8% base increase to $149,100, and received 16 stock grants. In total I have received 53 shares granted between new hire, promotion and this latest PCS. The 2022 PCS was underwhelming after all the news of pay band changes, and I seem to be hearing that most of that went to tech roles, so if I was in PMT, I would have got more. I spoke to a friend today who recently got hired in as PMT L6 and they are getting $195 base and TC around 375. They got more stock grant on their hire (112) than I have had total. So my questions are: - Am I in the right spot as a PM? - Am I a lot less than what I'd be as a PMT? - If my manager could convert me to a PMT (which he thinks he can), would I see a significant bump? - If I did an internal transfer to an L6 PMT, would I likely see a significant bump? I think you should’ve gotten more as L6 PM, I joined over a year ago, 2022 comp is -210k (stock doesn’t impact me much since I am year 2 still and don’t have any more vest till next year). Forte was meets and strong on LPs I am also in the process of getting converted to pmt within my team; if all goes well, it will be this quarter
Would you mind sharing tc and base for L5 non tech pm? Looking to do an internal transfer
What’s your TC? If you’re ~220k for l6 pm @3k price you’re doing fine. Pmts make more but your friend is an outlier
TC @ $3k price would be about $195k. Do you think it would go up more as PM-T? You think they are at the high end?
Yeah a 80-100k bump but not sure if this year or next.
