Yelp Toronto
Got through to the Yelp onsite a week ago for a new grad role in their SF office. Recruiter emailed me today saying they've filled that particular role but I can still interview for Toronto and London offices. Is this common? I imagine they'd have more than one new grad role cuz they're a large company. Also, anyone have experience with Yelp in Toronto? Is it worth considering?
From my friends, Yelp has been cancelling interviews and has been saying theyre out of HC for new grad for some weeks now :/
I'm feeling like this may be something limited to people needing visas. I asked the recruiter and she said they have HC
That's very plausible, considering I need sponsorship. But I iterally went through the coding challenge and phone interview last week and they knew about my visa situation. Weird company.
Stay away, low pay in both locations.
