How do I make sure I have medical insurance?
Quit early in the month.
If you quit your current job on 2nd of month, you are still covered by the insurance till end of month.
Check hr policy. My insurance ens d my last day of my job.
Check with the new company too. Some places you don't get insurance at the new job until your first full month working.
Just risk it. It’s just 3 weeks. Stop being a nervous Nancy
Some people have recurring medication, recurring doctor visits for conditions, expecting a baby, going to physical therapy for a sports injury, want coverage for kids etc etc etc. People are different and can make their own decisions. Not everyone is 22 with perfect health and no family obligations.
I bet op is young and single
As someone who worked in the healthcare insurance industry, there are a couple of options: COBRA - Extent original employer insurance up to 18 months. You have 60 days since the last day of work to decide if you want it or not. if you're not actively leveraging insurance then just don't do anything for 3 weeks, if you have to use it during those 3 weeks then elect for it and just pay a premium (yours + employers share) Option 2 - Get a bridge or short-term health insurance policies. Tons are available online

How long do you usually read every day?
Use cobra if you need health insurance. Can retroactively go back 3 months if you need a claim
Also, your current employer insurance normally runs through the end of the month.
