Hi everyone, I'm looking for Winter/Summer 2021 intern referrals (preferably Winter). About me: - student at University of Waterloo - LC 270 (all patterns memorized with spaced repetition software Anki) - 4 mo intern at IBM, 8 mo intern at Sequoia backed startup - got team matched with square internship for fall 2020 but no budget so offer fell through :( Target companies: Facebook, Google, Stripe, Lyft, Snap, Apple, Microsoft, Dropbox, Amazon Open to other companies as well! Would really appreciate your help. #referral #google #facebook #stripe #lyft #snap #apple #microsoft #dropbox #amazon
Pro tip: Sequoia-backed startup doesn’t say much about the startup.
true, but it’s the most clout i have :(
100%. Means absolutely nothing.
What were the patterns you memorized for lc
sliding window, two pointers, fast and slow, binary search, cyclic sort, bfs, dfs, back tracking, greedy, mono tonic queues, intervals, tries, topological sort and union find
Can you please explain how you create anki cards for these patterns? What is your question and answer. Maybe post a sample if you can. I think the arrays are most trickiest to figure out sometimes since there are so many patterns
Look at the other comment I posted here for the list of all patterns. The anki questions aren't sorted in any special way. But I've just studied leetcode in a dfs way such that I know all the patterns. Yes, array is tricky bc there's multiple patterns (two pointers, slow and fast pointers, cyclic sort)
Did you do the grokking patterns course? I meant how do you create the actual anki card for each pattern. Just a typical question and then answer or some other strategy?
Lol misleading title. I thought u actually interned at Sequoia

It doesn’t surprise me that google was the first to respond.
What does that mean?
