300k in my Ally Saving Account
What should I do with this money so it continues to grow? Ally has about a 4.4% APY so been getting around $1000 a month in interest from them but doesn’t seem enough to fledge against all the inflation so feels like my money is loosing purchasing power. How do you all invest your money? Any suggestions on where I can put this money so it grows at a stronger rate? #personalfinance #investments

Personal houses are not assets, they are liabilities that you can never get rid off.
Keep $50k in savings. Rest, some physical gold like $25-50k, some good etf like QQQ, and invest like $100k in real estate

Yes and 10k children will die today from lack of food. It will make no difference to the world if OP invests his 300K or not. It's inconsequential. If OP was going to use the money to create real value in the world, I would agree. But instead it will be invested, put into a house, or something equally irrelevant
