What are the perks they provide at the Bangalore office? Internet Reimbursement? Food? Quality of food? Gym? Post covid flights? Any goodies? Any additional benefits? How are the hikes for people who performed well? Any revisions this year? Also, is flat hierarchy a problem given that you are always at the same level? Will switching to non-networking companies as an SDE-2 be difficult? TC - 21LPA (INR) YOE-0 (PPO) #engineering #engineering #software #swe #Arista #tech
Op reveal your college, in blr there is no food facility, u get transport facility 5000 per month as said in offer letter. U get a plant for diwali, and hoodie for new year, ig thats it. And you get peace of mind. Free insurance. Changing to sde2 to hardware company like qualcomm, nvidea is super easy, and u can also go to Faang which depends on team ez to hard.

Joined post COVID, so take this with a grain of salt. I think they provide food and transport and that's pretty much it. Also a gift at the end of the year. As for hikes, I don't think they're very regular and are largely performance driven. For the first year or so, it's only in the form of increments in base pay. For the second year or so, it's mostly stock refreshers. Again, this may or may not happen and depends on a lot of things. Your manager makes the case for you when it comes to pay increments, so if you're unhappy, well, you would talk to them. Note that arista pays well in its domain (that of networking and infra companies) and competes with them for engineers If you try to to compare it with FAANG, well, you'll always think you're underpaid and may be miserable Edit: OP edited his question after this comment which makes the following irrelevant. (As an aside, and please do not take this the wrong way, but the 'Tier 1 College graduates' portion of your question when it comes to hikes is largely irrelevant. Your hikes do not have anything to do with the college you graduated from and no one really takes that into account. Do good work, help your co-workers, don't be a prick to others and work independently and you will be generally rewarded, imho.).
:P I didn't see the answer until after editing! Thanks for the info! Much appreciated!
Arista is competitive with faang for high performers, but it takes a while to bring up your TC. You can see huge yearly increases or terrible ones.
