Finally TATA entered into Aviation .
In 1978 Morarji removed JRD as Air India CMD and now TODAY, outside Air India building a hoarding sprung up which had just one line on a total white background. It said : TATA DOES NOT MEAN GOODBYE

Why bring morarji? It was nationalized in the 50s and jrd was not really in a position to make any decisions after that. Blame the actual guy who fucked over jrd just like he fucked over the entire country My own friend Nehru stabbed me in my back. I can only deplore that so vital a step was taken without giving us a proper hearing. – JRD Tata
