I was reached out to by a recruiter for a full time Principal Enterprise/Business architect role at a financial services company with a $200K annual base and a 35% incentive bonus. Anyone have an idea what company may offer 35% bonus for such a role?
It's probably the high end of the range the company offers. Have seen plenty of financial services firms do this (10-50% based on combination of firm success and individual performance).
How would anyone here know. Pls stop being lazy and just pick up the phone and talk to the recruiter if you want to know
Annual Bonus are discretionary depending upon variables beyond your control. Don’t fall for the trap.
This right here. OP needs to understand how the bonus is funded and if/how much is company performance based. Also understand what the funding history for those bonuses are. I know of companies that have never paid more than 50% of the target bonus, it’s BS, but be wary.
