Getting back to Software Engineering

After graduation, I spent almost 2 years mostly writing ansible and terraform scripts. Idk how to describe this work, but it was closest to sys-admin in my opinion. The work became super boring to me as it seemed like I was automating the same stuff everywhere I go. Never saw any growth from work. It felt quite depressing and discouraging. I wanted to do actual development work, but felt trapped. To build up skills, I started doing side projects. Mostly building pretty simple APIs in Express with mongo as DB. Learned a bit of React. Towards the end of last year, I added leetcode as one of my hobbies. Today I'm happy to say that I've landed a job as a software engineer at capital one. I know people make fun of them for having an easy interview process, but this is a big deal for me. I've been out of development for years and I finally have the opportunity now to grow more skills. I am kinda nervous since I haven't been a developer for the longest time. Whenever I'm in blind, I see some story about someone getting PIP Idk if it is imposter symptom or not, but does anyone have any advice? TC: 145k (base + bonus) #swe

Congrats! As a solutions architect i am a master of yaml. And struggling to land a job in sw due to lack of coding. (Apparently infrastructure as code is not coding) Also struggling to land a job in infra due to lack of production experience. SA sucks :(
