Typical stupid pseudo scientific article.. 1. Japanese are exceptionally hardworking people. This result won’t generalize in Seattle. 2. Something works for 1 month doesn’t imply it will work better for year after year. 3. People will get used to it and slowly go back to original habits or pace.
Depends on the industry and job type. Right now I work 3-4 hours a day in my salary job. Mainly from home, but in the office too. I would much prefer working 4-5 hours 4 days a week.
Less time to write crappy code would be beneficial to some of my co-workers.
