Can anyone comment on what options we have? Does vanguard charge you Any fees if you choose to just leave it there?
They charge the usual fees. Some others charge more once you are no longer with the company
I tried leaving it and they charged me exorbitant fees. Not worth it..
Hmm... How long did you leave it there? How much did they charge you ? What did you do afterwards?
You can roll it over to new employer 401k or an ira. Amazon or vanguard will send you instructions after youve left. Its not complicated
Roll it over to a rollerover ira at vanguard. There wonโt be any fees to open or maintain the account
Amazon is charging me - not a round number and looks dependent on balance. Looks like OP us moving from Amazon to Oracle. It's Fidelity at Oracle and they have identical funds. But like someone said earlier, most of these tech companies have a standard list of index ETFs that you can buy
They only charge very small admin fee quarterly
Slightly off topic, but did you get 100% of match if you did three years, or is the 401k vesting rolling (I.e. 2017 best 2020, 2018 on 2021, etc.)?
I am not sure I understand the question
Once the contribution from both employee and employer stops, I was wondering if vanguard will charge any fees for maintaining the account. Has anyone just let it as is without transferring to New employer or without withdrawing in case one is going back to home country for good.?
