Hello all, I invest in 401k just enough to benefit the company match and buy securities separately in Fidelity every month. Should I try to put more money in my 401k? Do you have any recommendation/guideline for me? I am 27 btw.
Definitely 401k. I'm assuming your position offers matching, and by not taking it you're leaving money on the table. 401k is also has tax advantages (no tax until withdrawl). Investing in fidelity means you'll get taxed income tax on it + upside when you sell
