How's engineering like at T-Mobile Bellevue? What's the culture like and are the projects interesting? Thanks.
Same in Yahoo campus signal is bad
Really? You want to go from Amazon to T-Mo?
I haven't worked for Amazon but T-Mobile isn't a good choice unless you are into ass kissing.
T-Mobile has various areas of tech where you can work- web, mobile, analytics, big data, cloud and core telecom engineering. Most of the areas are sadly dominated by third party vendors/contractors like Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Ericsson and TCS. There are teams which are completely managed by FTEs and are really good to work with.
T-Mobile is awesome. More niche but great people. I’d rather work there than Amazon.
I worked at T-Mobile in engineering and can say without any hesitation that it is the worst of all the companies that I have worked for. Their tech is shit and its all about making slides to impress SVPs like Abdul Saad who are big time micro-managers.
T-mobile is really a shitty company to work for unless you are a store associate. The Bellevue campus doesn't have real cafeterias, elevators don't work, on-site parking gets full by 8:45 AM and then you have to drive to off-site lots and take the awful magenta shuttles back to the campus which wastes an hour. My manager and skip were terrible. Basically all they did was kiss SVPs ass. Majority of the managers, directors, VPs, etc. are from mediocre schools and it shows. I quit and got a job in Facebook shortly there after. I wonder why I wasted 1.5 years of my life at T-Mobile. Most of their code is done by vendors with minimal to no quality control.

Why Worshipping Lord Ram Important in Hinduism?
I don't know, but please fix the goddamn coverage on the Microsoft main campus. ;)
It sucked in 2012-2013, but since 2014 (when they completed their LTE upgrade in the Puget Sound) I regularly got 4/5 dots on my iPhones - even got coverage while in the underground basement garages. Maybe your phone just sucks? :)
I switched from ATT and its miserable. Dropped calls all the time. Used to be able to do conf calls in my car commenting in. Now I can't.
