Not sure why others are saying musk is more like gavin belson than zuckerberg, as mark is: - Visionary ceo/founder - Pivoting fb core business model - Burning cash on metaverse = hooli doing the same chasing middle out - Cares more about “winning” than about the shareholders; see 54% of voting rights so can do whatever he wants - Realistically will fail, just like hooli tc: 🥜
The show admitted they modeled Gavin a lot after Marc Benioff (Salesforce CEO). He (Marc) has done weird shit like introduce his car at conventions, and apparently has a spiritual helper that follows him around. Idk if that’s true or not, that’s just what I’ve heard from my Apex-programming friends.
Also Elon is more likely to bring elephants and tortoises to board meetings lol. Gavin in the show is after Marc Benioff
Username checks out
Gavin is based on a couple of people, none of them Zuck or Musk. But Wired wrote Richard is some what based on Zuck. Generally speaking Gavin is much more Elon just based on the sheer lack of empathy, ego maniya and pettiness. I can never imagine Hooli treating laid off employees the way Meta did or Gavin taking ownership/apologizing for his part in all of it publicly. Now all the s*** going down with Twitter on the other hand is very Gavinesque.
Oculus should’ve acquired Facebook
It's Elmo
Mark has a soul. He's not perfect, he's a terrible CEO and naked emperor, but he's not some blood sucking weirdo like Musk.
Okay, L4 with 🥜, you know the best :)
Is there a need for this? And the morons who like this comment? His peanuts might worth more than your nuts. What a douche..
Calm down, Amex.
