Career at Grab
I have an offer from L4 position for an AI scientist role within Grab along with a few other offers. How is the recent experience for those working at Grab? Is the perception changed overall that Grab is not going to die and is on the path of profitability? Offer from Grab has slightly higher TC compared to my other offers.
Masters in CS top University + 2 years work experience and tons of publications in different fields of AI
I don’t recommend Grab. Work culture is horrible and management is lousy. You are expected to attend calls at 1 am with Singapore.
Yes I have heard about this. Does the management allow to come in late the next day and I am personally a night owl so 1 am calls may not be an issue
Point is not whether you are okay with 1 am call, point is what company's management think of their employees, and how they treat them.
What's your TC? Company is investing heavily in AI recently but not sure if it's for pumping up the valuation or really thinking about getting some tangible results. To me it's a hype.
Grab culture is terrible. You are forced to stay up late on meetings and working with engineers in singpore. It would make more sense if they have teams here qork on their own projects
