Changing to another project at Avanade

I've joined Avanade Portugal 7 months ago with 8 months of professional experience. This is a maintenance government project, however in the interview they had told me that I was going to a development project. New features are fun to develop, but the project has serious architectural problems. It needs to be rewritten. I've tried to talk to my career advisor about changing to another project and he told me I could change to another company if I wanted (I am not paraphrasing). We are having a lot of performance issues and they are asking me to solve them. The thing is that it is not possible with this architecture. They think otherwise, so they're now in the process of blaming me for the issues and for not being able to solve them. My motivation is now less than 0. I am already sending resumes and having some interviews, one of the companies is finding a project for me. But in the meantime I'm stuck and I think this is going to end up badly.
