Recently had an interview with Goldman Sachs, completed the coderpad( 2 LC medium), had 3 rounds of interviews with 5 people on technical design and behavioral and 2 rounds of MD rounds. From my perspective, everything went smoothly. They’ve mentioned they are also interviewing a couple other candidates for this role. After 1 month, I send an email to recruiter asking status and no reply and 1 week later I send a follow up and no reply. Do I assume that I’m no longer in contention for this position? Why would they waste 6 hours of my time and not even send a rejection email if they decided to move forward with other candidates? Is this a common theme? Tc : 135k
People are lazy, it's easier, there's no tangible consequences for the recruiter.
I had the same thing at a different company after just as much investment. Very strange
They take atleast 1 to 2 months to release offer. Typical GS approval process.
The recruiter got laid off.
I hope so 😂
