In Goldman you are kind of shoe horned on the type of work. In MS you will have a variety of teams, if you decide to switch and hence chance of learning is vast.
GS has fixed minimal requirements for promotion. Microsoft's promotion is based on impact (your luck, results and skills). Microsoft is relatively better, also you get better food (decent enough food for free and decent free drinks unlike GS where you have to pay). Also, teams in Microsoft are more structured and work is distributed unlike GS, where you end up being Developer, Tester, DevOps, Product Manager, etc.
