Recruiter from Teksystems with the most aggressive RTR agreement I’ve ever seen just sent me a remote role for them. They want to have a lifetime non submission clause from me… lol nah As discussed over the phone, can you please confirm the hourly rate of $50/hr on w2, and please give us the right to represent Conch Technologies Inc. to present your resume to our Vendor Partner/ Client: TEKsystems / American Express I hereby authorize Conch Technologies Inc., to exclusively present me ______, for the role of Kotlin Engineer with our Vendor Partner/ Client: TEKsystems / American Express. I agree not to present my consultant resume through any other company/vendor for this role and in case my consultant resume is presented to this client by other sources, Conch Technologies, Inc presentation of my resume will take precedence Irrespective of the time and date of a presentation by the other source. I also agree not to directly approach/accept offers from the client or any client subsidiaries. I shall not discuss the rate details with the client or its subsidiaries.
That means it's a contract job. Amex is not offering any new remote roles. From Jan 2024 we are expected to be 3 days in office
Ya it was a contract role. I’m completely fine with taking contract work if it’s remote. Amex wanting to pay shit for living in nyc or ask people to move to Phoenix Arizona is a pretty shitty talent attraction strategy I will say. Reminds me of the same predicament jpmc is in with their new Columbus office they can’t get anyone to relocate to
Not true. Some tech roles are remote.
How is the term of the RTR?
Just keep this job and keep looking for FT roles in the meantime

That’s exactly what I thought when I got this email haha. I even know people at TEKsystems too. Idk anyone at AE directly tho
AE isn’t listing this job as remote but their contract partners are. Interesting
