I don’t think it’s fair to request a take home assignment to candidates for different international growth lead roles asking them to create a 6 month plan to increase the number of users and subreddits in 30%. Do they want candidates to make their job even before the interview panel? Obviously is very nice to request several candidates from 5 different countries with solid experience to make their work and then send a thank you note. Also, since Reddit haven’t launched nothing special in the past 10 years, what type of geniality they are expecting from one single candidate without providing one single information?
free labor yes. I did the same for Lyft a few years ago. created a presentation for how to improve the app to show surge areas and times for drivers. didnt even get a chance to present it after i delivered it
Just reject?? That’s also an option
A lot of tech companies request an assignment of some sort
Jeez
Why hire anyone when you can get the work done for free with 1,000 ppl desperate enough to fall for the “take home assignment”
Literally the worst social network when mods are dicks and ban for no reason. Then, reddit loves to shadowban users for no reason too. Perhaps if they stopped doing it and audited the mods from time to time, they wouldn't have these issues
Wtf 😳
