Is this safe? 50% seems like a lot JPM. https://seekingalpha.com/news/3611950-jpmorgan-investment-bankers-head-back-to-office-bloomberg
I would have felt safe having continuing to go to the office the same time. I get that’s not the popular sentiment but that’s my two cents.
No choice, the tech sucks at jp and it's just a matter of time that remote desktop breaks down and nobody can work...
Relax, not that many people are "bankers" anyway
I think this only applies to front office folks?
Why are you so scared? In Europe we’re back to work and school.
Have you seen the death and infection # in US?
What’s your point? Cases are high in Europe too. We just get on with life.
At BMO they asked us (Technology) to work from home until end of the year.
In a perfect world, this could be safe if each person followed protocol and wore masks, avoided large gatherings and seniors, etc. But practically, don't see this affecting society well lol
Agree with this for the most part. As a result, we’ll most likely see case count tick back up, but hopefully...probably....not death count
I have neighbors and friends having post-Covid parties, their kids doing summer pool parties, etc. The population is insane and has decided they are done.
we don't need bankers anyways anymore
I don't think it's a huge deal but why take unnecessary risk. By the law of large numbers, more people will get sick/die or cause others to get sick/die because of this. May only be a few but still seems unnecessary. Glad American Express is taking a very forward thinking approach to this situation unlike a lot of financial institutions.
Safe. Check the death stats on Covid that is only due to CoVID.
One may not die, but one may be cause of someones death...
Again, look at the death rate for people in the workforce (i.e. not retired pop). One can totally stay safe at the office and avoid old/vulnerable people. (A.k.a the Sweden model)
