"The attitude of Indian suppliers is also said to compare poorly with the can-do approach of Chinese companies, with one former Apple engineer saying that there is no sense of urgency in its Indian supply chain …" https://9to5mac.com/2023/02/14/iphone-casings-produced-in-india/
China would have seen the same thing 10 years ago. These things take time
India is expensive and no longer can become supply chain like China. Its all corrupt and it's difficult to do business for big corps like Apple.
pretty sure they will come back to China for manufacturing once they are back to pre-Covid productivity, I can’t imagine India or even the US ever outperforming them in both quality and price
I’m Indian and wouldn’t buy “produced in India”.
Savage
Depends on the item

Not bad, as long as we can focus on improving.
Now they’ll start whipping Indian slaves in sweatshops to make these
Should get the white trash sisterfuckers to do it instead
This doesn’t surprise me.
The KPI for the factory workers is probably get casing finished, not good casing. Why make two perfect ones when you can make one shitty and one defective in less time ?
50% effective. Exceeds expectations
