Hi For Sr. Staff role, any suggestions on which one to Join AMD or Juniper Networks or Nvidia. TC wise both are offering exact same. Nvidia is still in discussions. How is the RSU refresh is both and Variable Pay history in last 3-4 years in Juniper and AMD?? TC AMD : 53.4 Lacs (Base :44L) TC Juniper: 52.2 Lacs ( Base: 42L) Only difference is in RSU Amd offering 20K more RSU. .
Tc or gtfo
Tc mentioned
Yeah...it should be in this order: NVidia > AMD > juniper
What is X ? We don’t know X/(X-1)
TC mentioned.. Lets say Nvidia is ruled out
NVIDIA
Nvidia is ruled out right now
I worked for a long time at both AMD and Juniper. They are both great for WLB and both pay relatively low TC compared to other companies. I think Juniper is a bit better for WLB and more flexible. Juniper has smaller teams so you have an opportunity to have larger contributions. They are both good places to learn but don't spend too much time at either company. Move to a tier 1, like Nvidia, when you can.
How is the RSU refreshers in both.. And Annual bonus trends in last few years.
I heard Juniper gives Annual Bonus in BTW 60-80% only. And no refreshers every year.. Once in 3-4 years is it true at Juniper??
@OP, how many years of experience ? 42L base seems to be low end of sr staff
I think base depends a lot on previous TC
YoE: 13. What is the median base for Sr.Staff.. Max base for Sr. Staff? And typical year of Experience for getting promoted to PE or DE1.
PE/DE is kind of impossible as there is company wide board to approve promo for these levels. Seniorstaff is kind of terminal role for most folks. 42 base seems at low end for senior staff. 42 + 8.4(20% bonus) + 1.8 L stock?. I doubt new hire stock is so low!.
Stocks are 20K USD, not included in TC. What is the range of Base for Sr. Staff? What is median Base
AMD
Nvidia , no Brainer
Nvidia is still in discussion, not yet final.. Amd vs Juniper??
If Nvidia out of picture then AMD
