Correct. Automation is real. What's your point?
Did you read either article? The point is that the Indian IT industry is experiencing major cuts and challenges due to changes in immigration policy and sentiment w.r.t. outsourcing. I posted two news articles that are pretty relevant to the tech industry...
I did but it's not just the Indian IT market. Tldr:"Digitisation and automation brought about disruption in traditional roles, which means that most of the IT firms found themselves reassessing the capability of the talent pool to stay market relevant" What are your thoughts or what about it are you looking to discuss.
They would move faster than you could blink. See the UK
You are conflating demand vs labor supply. I'm with you on demand, India is massive and growing!
What I find confusing is why don’t Indians start their own big software companies? They already have so much talent.
They do start. Heard about Flipkart, zomato, ola, inmobi, commonfloor and a lot more Indian startups? Maybe most of them don't achieve global scale but Indian market is quite large.
All the talent goes to America while the garbage stays behind. That’s why India is still a third-world country
Indians should take their tomahawks back home
Wow, really?
They are having to retool their technical education focus to fit new disruptive model. Just a skill vs needs market correction.
Time to start using condoms
Indians suffering like this makes my dick hard
I think it's about time for it to go under the guillotine
If you can’t compete with dumbasses with useless cs degrees, then I’ve got some bad news for you. If you can compete, then who cares. Adapt or die.
They have finally realized that having 3 qualified people gets the work done faster and cheaper than 50 with fake degrees and resumes. Surprised it’s taking this long.
This might be the best thing happening to India,In future brilliant kids won't be forced/brainwashed to join these consultancies.I know many people whose talent has been wasted in these companies
