How is Quicken Loans in terms of WLB
How is Quicken Loans in terms of work life balance? Job stability/security? Layoffs? PIP culture? TC: 75K YOE: 3
I was there for more than a year. Employee culture is really great and the WLB as well. I haven’t heard any cases of pip. You will enjoy as long as you are satisfied with your TC.
WLB depends on your role and how high up. It decreases as you get closer to the top. Job security is basically guaranteed. You're not getting fired unless you really really fuck up. We don't really do layoffs and honestly are hiring like crazy. Can't keep up. Culture is surface level great and again if you're not that high on the totem pole probably decent enough. Higher you go the less great it is.
If you are joining as Team member , it totally depends on your Team Leader . TL is mostly non technical and you will hard it find hard time working them . Level setting with them will be hard in technical perspective and with their little technical knowledge they grade you on the technical work you do . This screws the work culture
Depends on the team, but generally it’s easy. It’s incredibly hard to get fired here. PIPs are rare as most leaders don’t want to deal with 100 meetings with HR because HR sucks here. The culture from a senior leadership perspective is like a frat boy cult.
