Ethereum is overhyped.
Sorry, someone had to say it. Issues- Scalability nightmare Sharding isn't going to work Block chain bloat issues 100X worse than bitcoin. Proof of stake is a closed entropy system which cant work. Miners are printing money at the moment. Revenue to electricity cost ratio is through the roof. Pros- Great for Ico pump and dumps. Great marketing and hype "world super computer" Did I miss anything else?
Did I already miss the boat on the ethereum? Is there another currency I can hop in on?
The ethereum platform is used by dozens of alts, which all require ether for transactions. Ethereum isn't going anywhere anytime soon
Etheruem and litecoin are both feeding from coinbase-based bubbles. Once coinbase adds more altcoins or gets out competed, or literally nothing happens and time just goes by, the bubble will pop and speculators will sell.
Can someone post a link to a good newbies guide on trading this stuff on a practical level? What sites to use, how to conduct transactions, switch between currencies, keep track of transactions for taxes...thanks!
