Just had an interview with capital one today. Was told the caps for my seniority. I explained to him that I’m interviewing at a higher range and at the very end he mentioned “we can probably make an exception”. Too many higher paying alternatives. *Edit: took it for the practice.

Yes, Rich Fairbanks. Capital One was the first and only place I worked where people were so scared to give feedback to leadership that a product failed for completely avoidable reasons leading to the redeployment of an entire office. Mind blowing. Even Amazon wasn’t that toxic.
