Need recommendations for creative and fun groups in SEA

Been living in Seattle for a year now with my spouse. He is at times open to checking out new things in the city with me .. but overall he is busy with his work and has hobby projects etc to keep him occupied. I wanna know if you’ll have any recommendations for fun groups and meetups ranging from art , yoga , cooking, comedy clubs or any such creative avenues. Preferably groups which are even active right now via online meetups . I work full time .. but overall been having a feeling that life’s getting mundane and find Seattle a very sleepy city . I try to stay entertained with new Netflix shows, paint by myself etc ... but would like some creative company and it feels super duper hard to find such people here. We have lived in Europe in the past and there were several creative avenues for me . Here life feels kinda robotic. Well... I could try and do more coding for pastime too .. but am looking to virtually meet up fun peeps. Especially during this time I am becoming increasingly aware of how much I miss such people in my life and mentally it feels like I am locked in a cage. TC: 180k Yoe: 4

You can make friends in Seattle if it weren’t for the pandemic. Otherwise, though... If you want to make friends, be a friend.

Well, if it wasn’t a pandemic I’d recommend looking into joining groups to meet people, like Rotary Club. You could also join a fitness club and do group fitness or outdoor activities to meet people. Board games are also fun, and there’s often board game cafe/pubs that could be a chill hangout to meet people. And a lot of pubs do trivia nights which is fun, too. Most of these things won’t be possible til the pandemic is over. Until then it’s going to be tough to meet new people other than over the internet. Maybe reconnect with old friends or try to befriend some co workers and do a virtual happy hour or virtual game night. This winter, pay extra attention to your well being since socializing won’t be a big component of it. Take Vitamin D daily, exercise a few times a week, try to sleep good hours, and use a SAD lamp in the morning if you’re feeling tired or depressed. The winter can really take a toll on you if you don’t keep up with those things.

Fitness clubs are closed. For your health and safety, stay home! We are getting flights from the UK daily so it’s gonna be a shit show soon . Binge Netflix. Try to see if you can volunteer at a food bank. Go through your crap and open up an eBay store and start selling it. Good luck. I’m bored too, going stir crazy, but I’m immune compromised so I have to stay home.
